I'm an experienced music teacher offering guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, ukulele and theory lessons to people from areas such as Yate, Chipping Sodbury, Old Sodbury, Iron Acton, Frampton Cotterell, Coalpit Heath, Winterbourne, Westerleigh, Rangeworthy, Horton, Emersons Green, Hawkesbury Upton, Wickwar, Kingswood, Wotton-under-Edge, Charfield, Pucklechurch, Bradley Stoke, Stoke Gifford and Thornbury. Besides teaching other musical activities I have undertaken include session playing, playing in a band, recording and producing music.
Having had a keen interest in music from a young age, I took up piano and later guitar and then drums. Whilst at secondary school I went on to pass grade 8 guitar. At school I gained A levels in Maths, Physics, Music and Music Technology. After this I went on to University where I studied the Tonmeister course (Music and Sound Recording), which I passed with first class honours. Here I studied modules such as piano skills and harmony.
Several of my ex-students have gone on to study music further at various colleges and universities, with some also going on to work within the music industry (teaching, performance, TV, film, recording etc).
